Danijela & I are missing Tata on the Oregon coast. We landed in Portland on Wednesday evening & are now spending the remainder of our time in Neskowin. We walked to the beach late yesterday. We are headed there again shortly. Danijela is waiting at the front door.
We all took our first trip to the The Dallas World aquarium last week. It was a little hot in the "Rain Forest" because it was ridiculously hot outside. But it certainly gave us a more authentic experience. It was a good time & we even got a year membership. Call me Tracy!
We visited Aunt Rosalie in her new home last Saturday. It had been considerably too long since our last visit. We all had a good time. Danijela ate approximately 10,000 fish crackers & became very fond of a doll chair. She pulled it around, positioned it carefully, sat & giggled. This was repeated for about 1 hour. Aunt Rosalie gave it to Danijela & I can only say it's been an enormous hit. Thank you, Rosalie. We love you.
Tata was pretending to sleep on the floor. So, Danijela pretended too. She told me to "shhhhhh." Then she went to investigate like a good inspector. This was so funny.

This is becoming a common occurrence. I often bring Danijela in bed with us in the mornings. She actually goes back to sleep on occasion. We pray she develops her Tata's amazing ability to sleep anywhere.
At Stevie's birthday party Danijela had her first taste of good ole' birthday cake. I scraped off the frosting (for me ... so sad) & fed her the white cake. I just wasn't sure she needed the full blown frosting. Funny how I thought it was perfectly fine for me. She definitely enjoyed the sugar high from the cake.
Stevie turned 2! And I am soooooooooo slow in posting some birthday party pics. We walked to Polly & Steve's for a birthday breakfast party on their screened in porch (I have porch envy). As usual it was fun for everyone. That is an Elmo flashlight on the cake, if you are wondering. It was very cool.
