I love the first image & am totally bummed it is out of focus. Anywho, Dr. Nale made a funny comment. "Luka's neck is missing." I responded "His neck might be missing, but he has a second chin!" Luka received rave reviews. Danijela was there to supervise. I had her show Dr. Nale her ouchie so she would feel included. Ironically he actually found a splinter & had to remove it!
Tata & I have started occasionally taking a bath with the kids. That's not my hairy arm in the picture! On Sunday Tata reluctantly jumped in for the first time. It was so funny. Pretty quickly Danijela pointed to Tata's chest and said "zsa zsa?" Oh, it gave us quite the chuckle. Here she is giving Luka a kiss on the head. That boy loves the bathtub.
Below is my absolute favorite image. Aubrey gave Luka some "juice" (via fake sippy cup). Look at how she puckered up while feeding him. Man, she is a cutie pie. Priceless!
Only recently have Melanie & I became aware the girls know what timeout is. They started disciplining baby dolls & stuffed animals. Earlier this week poor "little baby" & "baby Savannah" were banished to the corner of Danijela's bed. Both received a good finger pointing & told to stay in timeout. Danijela has had a taste of it herself too. She no likey.
Look at that hair! Sweet girl graduated to the big tub this week. We've always bathed her in a smaller plastic tub. Haven't given it much thought really until we all the sudden realized she is way too big for that silly thing anymore. The tub got recycled & she is now swimming in the big tub. Who knew such an event would be so exciting for her.
My boy is BIG. I don't know what he weighs now, but he no longer looks like the images posted to date. Danijela has Mother's Day Out tomorrow & I will try to capture a good picture of my hunk. Seriously, he even looks bigger than he did on Sunday. Can't wait for him to suck another 20 lbs off me!
Said I'd never bribe my children with food -- especially candy. Well, I'm a big fat liar. My sister said that small pieces of chocolate can do wonders in the potty training arena. I gave it a try. Today for chocolate (not Mama) Danijela poo'd & pee'd on the potty eight times.
She very much wants him on her shoulder so she can pat his back (rather hard). Thanks for the assist, Margaret & Kevin. Actually thank you for everything. I so appreciate how you love our girl like your very own. I seriously don't have the words to express my gratitude.
I am the Mr. Wilson of this blog. Mr. Wilson was the character on Home Improvement (Tim Allen) that only revealed the top portion of his face over Tim's backyard fence. That's so me. You'll rarely see my face on this blog. This could be me, but it isn't. It's sweet Melanie.
On Monday Sundee & Reece paid us a visit. Danijela pulled the squeaky dog & Reece pulled the plane. Those two kiddos were having the best time flying around our tiny house following one another (Danijela likes to direct & lead!). I love the sound of children laughing. It was sweet, sweet sound to my ears. See Sundee's post.
