Cowboy Woodie

Dictation from Luka: "Woodie is a cowboy. He has a hat and belt buckle. Santa brought me Woodie. Santa was beautiful. He brought me a hat with Woodie. Santa came to our house with a big red bag."
Poor Woodie has been left on the floor & in other odd places since Luka's visit from Santa. If you haven't seen Toy Story 2, you should. This will all make much more sense. I hear a new Toy Story is being released. I'm actually excited to see it myself. Our children have never been to the theater without lasting less than five minutes.

Turning 5

We cannot believe Miss Danijela is turning 5 in a matter of a week. She loves her princesses (ugh!) but she also loves church. She is thoughtful of her brother (79.9% of the time). They play well together when left alone. I refer to Luka as "mini me" because he wants to be with his sister & repeats her words constantly.
This past week our children have been in Austin @ Poppy & Grammy's house with their cousins. It is an adventure. Grammy shared with me how well behaved they are which is sweet music to any parents ears. We don't often see the fruits of our labor, but know that others do. We work tirelessly to teach them the ways of the Lord & not the ways of this world. It is hard, but worth all the effort our bodies can muster. Praise God alone!
