Happy Birthday, Mrs. Melanie!

You are an amazing person. Life would never be the same without you. I know I speak for Sundee, Jan & Kirsten. Thank you for letting us celebrate your life tonight. It was a wonderful, sweet time. Lots of laughter & tears. You live in my heart & I thank you for loving me just as I am, sweet girl.

Sparkles & Carnival

We went to a carnival on a beautiful, sunny Saturday with Devra & Ellis. It was a good time minus crazy Luka. He decided to have fun about the time we had to leave (w/ Luka only). Devra & the girls stayed & had a great time. We only lost Ellis twice. Not sure how many times Danijela got lost in the crowd. The girls patiently waited in line for face painting. Danijela (and I'm sure Ellis) still have left over face paint. I honestly thought the many bounce houses would be the "it" of the day. Nope. Thank you to Devra for taking care of Danijela which allowed Dan & I to meet with Jan. Thank you to Tata for handling our super tired monkey (Luka).

High Pony

This is my girl, Danijela, and my other girl, Jessica. Jess is incredibly wonderful with our children. She recently gave Danijela Tinkerbelle PJs. We have to wash them frequently because that's all she'll wear now. Tonight Luka is soundly asleep (thank you, God) in his Woodie & Buzz Light Year PJs ... again a sweet gift from Jessica. Thank you for being a kid with my kids & being so kind to me. Yes, we have travelled a tough road together. Life is a journey & you are an AMAZING person. Don't you ever forget that, girl. God made you & will never leave you.

Cowboy

This is it. Luka rarely leaves the house without his "cowboy" hat. It's one Danijela wore as a baby. He also takes his "pistol" from a party (super small red plastic thing). Close at hand is his lovey. He is a mean cowboy even with a pink hat. We called him "Luka Pistol" long before he carried one. I hope to never forget this time in his life. He will roll around on the floor in a tantrum before leaving the house if he doesn't have his pink "cowboy" hat. Pow, pow, dude. You have certainly whooped me.

Rainbows of Life

We are alive & well. I haven't posted in months, but life has been moving forward at a rapid pace. It has rained for what seems like weeks upon weeks. We have had a sick household & I've been working the photography business. Here is a glimpse of our sweet family. Making the most of the continual rain & rainbows in between.
